After receiving feedback directly from parent emails, assignment comments, and administration. I am working on making library lessons:
- More independent for students, less parental help, as possible.
- Less wordy and more concise directions. I will post a video of direction to hopefully alleviate this.
- Zoom Live teachings will be more like "Office Hours" to answer questions. I will post videos of assignment directions, step by steps, and where to find assignments.
- Fun yet engaging activities to relieve stress from regular academic work.
- Shorten the amount of work students are asked to complete.
- Assignment due dates are flexible! Although I put the due date in the assignment, uploading it a couple of days late, will not penalize your students "grade". I understand the difficulties with scheduling and technology cooperation therefore, I am flexible.
- If you need any technology help regarding how to use Google Classroom or completing an assignment. Please email me. Again, I am trying to make assignments as independent as possible while still engaging the students.
- All assignments need to be "turned in" or "Mark as Done" in the Google Classroom. I have assignments for over 200 students to keep track of and Google Classroom keeps it all in one place for me rather than separate emails. Google Classroom also give me the ability to "grade" and offer feedback in ways that an email can't. Again, if you are having trouble doing this send me an email, I am more than happy to help.
